St Cuthbert's CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, which can be viewed in the School Policies section.
We have a duty to ensure children are safe in our school and we do this by making sure that everyone who comes into the building is suitable for working with children. We also work hard to minimise risk in the school grounds and building.
If you have concerns about the safety or well-being of any member of our school community then please contact our schools Designated Safeguarding Leads:
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in school – Mrs Hawkins (Headteacher)
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in school - Miss Scott (Deputy Headteacher)
Designated teacher for looked-after and previously looked-after children – Miss White (KS1 Leader)
